A Note from the Owner

Before you get to the legal stuff below, I wanted to take a minute and give you a more realistic picture of what this actually is.

It makes sense to me that these are less dangerous than a kid riding a bicycle. They have four wheels, not two. There is nothing to balance. The fastest these things go is 5 miles per hour. We have a slow speed at 2.5 mph for the little ones. For reference, that is a slow walking pace.

The most dangerous things that could happen: someone gets out of their vehicle and gets hit by another car, or a kid drives into something they should not.

A few things to know:

These are made for kids ages 3 to 9. Under 3 is probably starting to get too young. If your kid is on the younger side, stay close.
Up to two kids per vehicle. No piling three or four kids into the same car.
No standing up, no wheelies, no trying to be Evel Knievel. Keep all four wheels on the ground.
These are not bumper cars, but we are totally fine with the occasional bump. That is to be expected and part of the fun.
The fastest speed is 5 mph. The slow setting is 2.5 mph. That is a walking pace.
We are outside on real ground, not a polished floor. It is an unpredictable environment sometimes. Dress accordingly.
Closed-toe shoes. Flip flops and go-karts do not mix.
You know your kid better than we do. If they are not ready for this, that is okay. We would rather you sit one out than have a bad time.

So just be vigilant about where they are driving, keep an eye on them, and make sure they stay in their vehicle at all times.

We have had 50+ parties and zero trips to the ER. We want to keep it that way. Help us out.

I fully understand that all activities with Go Kart Park could result in injury or death which may be caused by my actions, inactions or those of others. I fully accept and assume all risks and responsibility for any and all damages, injuries, or death, or losses that I may incur as a result of my participation in all activities with Go Kart Park including the use of any go kart or other park equipment. I hereby release, discharge, waive all claims, hold harmless, and covenant not to sue Go Kart Park, its owners and any other entities associated with Go Kart Park for any and all claims for losses, injuries or damages.

This release and waiver having been read thoroughly and understood completely, is signed voluntarily as to its content and intent.
